Ours is a team-based model of care - led by a personal physician who provides continuous and coordinated care throughout a patient's lifetime to ensure positive health outcomes. This Patient-Centred Medical Home style practice is responsible for providing all of a patient's health care needs or appropriately arranging care with other qualified professionals.

We aim to address all factors that contribute to health, healing, and disease treatment, blending advanced clinical practice with proven complementary therapies.

We coordinate clinical care, individualized health coaching, and therapeutic support to address the physical, mental, and emotional needs of all our patients, through the combined effort of our physicians, specialists and complementary health care providers.
 

Dr. Tanya Destang-Beaubrun

Dr. Tanya Destang-Beaubrun is a  Family Physician and  Lactation Consultant. She opened the Rodney Bay Medical Centre in 1994, which has since expanded its services to include the Integral HealthCare Medical Clinic at its new location in the Providence Commercial Centre next to the J. Q. Mall and the Bay Gardens Hotel.

She graduated from University of the West Indies in 1991, and completed Internship at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados in 1993, and has been in Private Family Practice since 1994.


She is a Member of the American Academy of Family Physicians  and Caribbean College of Family Physicians, and was certified with the General Medical Council  in 1999. She is registered and licensed by the St. Lucia Medical and Dental Council.

She is a Board Certified Lactation Consultant  (IBCLC) since 1999, and is a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and International Lactation Consultants Association. 

She has served as President of the St. Lucia Medical and Dental Association as well as Vice President of the St. Lucia Planned Parenthood Association.

She is currently pursuing a course of study in Functional Medicine , a branch of medicine which focuses heavily on primary prevention and identifying the underlying causes ,instead of symptoms of disease , and takes into account the biological variances of each patient.

She is a certified Spinning Instructor , and an ardent yoga practitioner.

She is  certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Dr. Al J. Pierre

Dr. Al J. Pierre, is a registered medical practitioner on the island of St. Lucia from April 2005. He graduated from Cuba with a degree in Human Medicine in June 2003. During his student life he was very actively involved in biomedical research and wrote several papers on Tropical Diseases, Iridology (Iridodiagnosis) and Medical Ethics to name a few, some of which were presented in scientific forums.

Upon graduation he proceeded to Trinidad and Tobago where he completed a revalidation of his medical degree at The University of the West Indies. He also performed a brief stint in Grenada at The General Hospital in St. Georges. In St. Lucia, he has worked at the Victoria Hospital, Gros Islet Polyclinic, Monchy and Grande Riviere Health Centres, and more recently the Tapion Hospital, whilst operating his private practice from 2007. He served in the capacity of Lecturer at the American International Medical University between 2007 and 2009.

During his professional life he has pursued a number of certificate courses and served in several capacities in numerous organizations and boards including The Saint Lucia Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Pierre is best known for his integral approach to healthcare and his belief that equipping patients with the relevant information about their health is an important tool in the prevention and management of diseases . He has been a contributor to local newspapers, SHE Caribbean Magazine and recently Caricom Perspectives and co-host of the popular radio talk show The Dolor Factor.

Dr.Gennie Isaac

Dr. Gennie L. Isaac-Louisy is a Family Practitioner who obtained her medical training in Cuba. During her studies completed additional courses in Natural Medicine, Intensive Care, Colposcopy and Proctology. She graduated from the Institution of Higher Learning of Medical Sciences, Havana Cuba in July of 2007.

Her work experiences include 3 years on maternity and gynaecology wards at Victoria Hospital. She also served as a District Medical Officer at the Soufriere Hospital, Gros Islet Polyclinic as well as various Health Centres island wide.

She is a member of the Caribbean College of Family Physicians (CCFP) and the St. Medical and Dental Association ( SLMDA) and has also served as the junior doctor representative of SLMDA.
She is registered and licensed with the St. Lucia Medical and Dental Council.

Dr. Isaac-Louisy is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). She is currently pursuing a course in the fertility education and medical management programme which is currently being piloted in St. Lucia . When completed, this Programme will be replicated throughout the Caribbean.
 

Dr. David Bristol

Dr. David Bristol is a general surgeon who has been in practice in St. Lucia since 1993.  He is a graduate of University College Cork, National University of Ireland and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

His special areas on interest are gastrointestinal, colorectal, endoscopic investigation and treatment; breast surgery and urology. Minor surgical procedures are carried out in the office. 

All major surgery is performed at Tapion Hospital. Clinic days are Mondays and Thursdays, commencing at 7:30 a.m.

Dr. Adela Lalsingh - Dermatologist

Dr. Adela Lalsingh is the Consultant Dermatologist at the Rodney Bay Medical Center,

She graduated as a Medical Doctor from the University of the West Indies, and immediately after the Internship period, entered the field of Dermatology, again at the Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies, to accumulate more experience in the field, before going on to the University of London to complete her studies in Dermatology.

Her vast experience in Dermatology is aptly supported by her frequent attendance of conferences organized by the American Academy of Dermatology,.

Dr. Lalsingh is now a Fellow of the American Academy of dermatology (FAAD).

With the many years of experience in general Dermatology, the doctor is quite comfortable : (1) Treating skin cancers (2) Skin Rejuvenation,  and (3) Sexually transmitted infections, .among the many other practices performed in Dermatology with the sole intention of making the patient feel and look better.

Dr. Lalsingh is a member of the St Lucia Medical and Dental Association, The Caribbean Dermatology Association, The American Academy of dermatology; and the International Society of Dermatology.
